„Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person. Personal Data collected by the Website include: A) Navigation data The IT systems of the Website collect certain Personal Data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. These are pieces of information not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but which, by their nature, could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. These include IP addresses or domain names of the devices used by users connecting to the Website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.

These data are used to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Website and to check its correct functioning; to allow – given the architecture of the systems used – the correct provision of the various features requested by users, for security reasons, and to ascertain responsibility in the case of hypothetical computer crimes against the Website or third parties.

B) Voluntarily provided data Apart from what is specified above for navigation data necessary to implement IT and telematic protocols, the provision of Personal Data by users of the Website is optional and voluntary, even though functional to the provision of certain services: in these cases, therefore, the failure to provide data may jeopardize or render it impossible to provide the service. Specifically, through the Website, users have the possibility of voluntarily providing Personal Data, such as name, surname, company name, address, telephone number, email address,

banking and payment details, etc., in order to contact the European Youth Centre via optional and voluntary means such as the contact form, messages containing information requests, quote requests, spontaneous submissions, or any kind of communication to the addresses indicated on the Website, or by creating a new account to access the restricted area of the Website. The Personal Data provided by users through these means are solely used for the execution of the service or the fulfillment of the request, with the consequent acquisition of your email address necessary for responding to your requests and any other Personal Data provided and/or transmitted by you through the Website and related services. European Youth Centre will process this data in accordance with GDPR and the applicable national legislation on personal data protection, assuming they refer to you or third parties who have clearly given consent for the transmission based on an appropriate legal basis justifying the processing of such data. In these cases, you act as an independent data controller, assuming all obligations and responsibilities arising from the law. In this sense, you provide the broadest protection in this regard against any dispute, claim, compensation demand for processing, etc., that may reach the European Youth Centre from third parties whose personal data was processed through the use of the Website in violation of the applicable legal provisions.
